Looks very similar in to the Mexican Red Rump (Grows 1cm smaller when matured) with it’s velvety black appearance and glowing red rump hairs, but probably slightly better looking and even more docile, the Guatemalan Red Rump is one calm tarantula.
Excessive pestering might be met with a flick of urticating hairs as it is a “New world tarantula” , but they’re otherwise known to be hardy and easy going with a calm and docile temperament, this species is a treat for beginners as they are fantastic display tarantula.
